What masks can I use with the AirMini?
The AirMini may only be used with the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask, the AirFit N20 Nasal Mask, and Airfit/Airtouch F20 Full Face Mask. The Airfit N20 and Airfit/AirTouch F20 require a set up pack purchased separately. Because of the unique design of the machine and mask connections on the AirMini hose, only can be used with these specific masks, and must be used with the appropriate setup pack. These setup packs are not compatible with any other machine, and no other mask can be used with the AirMini at this time.
What is a set up pack and why do I need one?
In order to be compatible with the AirMini's unique design, each of the mask options must be paired with a set-up pack specifically designed for that mask. The set-up pack includes the air delivery tubing as well as the ActiveAir™ venting and accommodations for the HumidX™ waterless humidification cartridge. Please note that the AirFit P10 pillow style mask includes the set-up pack, but the set-up packs for the N20 and F20 style masks are purchased separately. Please note that the HumidX™ technology is not compatible with the F20 or F30 style masks and can only be used with the P10 and N20 style masks. Your AirMini set-up pack will include one HumidX™ and one HumidX™ Plus cartridge to get you started. Replacement cartridges are sold separately and should be replaced every 30-days after opening.
How Small is the AirMini
Dimensionally speaking, the AirMini is the smallest machine available today. It measures 5.4 in L x 3.3 in W x 2.1 and weighs 0.66 lbs.
Can I use the AirMini as my full time CPAP machine?
While the AirMini matches the performance of the larger AirSense 10, it was designed to be used as a travel CPAP. ResMed has achieved a significant reduction in size, while maintaining the same quality of therapy, through innovations that include ActiveAir™, HumidX™/HumidX Plus. It is not recommended as a replacement for your full time CPAP machine.
